  • 1 piece frozen venison steak
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Water
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup rich milk
  • Salt pork (optional, if steak is dry)

Method

  1. 1 Place the frozen venison in water with 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Wait until ice forms on the surface, then remove the meat and scrape off the ice with a knife.
  2. 2 Wipe the steak dry and dredge it well in flour. Heat a good piece of butter in a pan.
  3. 3 Season the steak with salt and pepper. Fry in the butter on both sides until browned.
