Pan Fried Steak With Tomatoes And Onions
Ingredients
- 1 lb round steak, pounded thin
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 6 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large mango pepper, chopped
- Cayenne pepper, to taste (if pepper is mild)
- Oil or Crisco, for frying
Method
- 1 Pound the round steak thoroughly with flour on a saucer.
- 2 Fry the steak quickly over a hot fire and remove from pan.
- 3 In the same pan, fry onions, tomatoes, and mango pepper in oil or Crisco until thickened.
- 4 Add the steak back to the pan and cook slowly until meat is tender.
