Pan Fried Steak With Crispy Potatoes
Ingredients
- ½ cup beef drippings
- 6 potatoes, sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Heat ½ cup of drippings in a frying pan until very hot.
- 2 Fry the sliced potatoes in the hot drippings until done, then remove and drain.
- 3 Broil the steak.
- 4 Add chopped parsley, onion, salt, and pepper to the remaining drippings in the pan.
- 5 Pour the seasoned drippings over the steak and pile the fried potatoes around it.
