Pan Fried Steak With Crispy Potatoes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup beef drippings
  • 6 potatoes, sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Heat ½ cup of drippings in a frying pan until very hot.
  2. 2 Fry the sliced potatoes in the hot drippings until done, then remove and drain.
  3. 3 Broil the steak.
  4. 4 Add chopped parsley, onion, salt, and pepper to the remaining drippings in the pan.
  5. 5 Pour the seasoned drippings over the steak and pile the fried potatoes around it.
