Pan Fried Sage Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 3 pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp finely minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp powdered sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Trim the pork chops neatly and cut them about half an inch thick.
  2. 2 Heat a frying pan with a bit of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. 3 Add the chops and turn them often until browned on all sides, about 15 minutes.
  4. 4 Remove one chop to test for doneness. If cooked, season with minced onion, powdered sage, salt, and pepper.
