Pan Fried Sage Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 3 pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp finely minced onion
- 1/4 tsp powdered sage
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Trim the pork chops neatly and cut them about half an inch thick.
- 2 Heat a frying pan with a bit of butter over medium-high heat.
- 3 Add the chops and turn them often until browned on all sides, about 15 minutes.
- 4 Remove one chop to test for doneness. If cooked, season with minced onion, powdered sage, salt, and pepper.
