  • butter or dripping

Method

  1. 1 Cut the cold boiled potatoes into thick slices.
  2. 2 Heat butter or dripping in a frying-pan over medium heat.
  3. 3 Fry the potato slices, lifting or scraping them with an iron spoon to prevent sticking and burning.
  4. 4 Cook until all slices are a very light brown color.
  5. 5 Season with salt and pepper before serving.
