Pan Fried Potato Cakes
Ingredients
- boiled potatoes
- salt
- pepper
- flour
- milk
- butter
Method
- 1 Mash boiled potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Dredge the potatoes with flour and moisten with a very little milk.
- 3 Butter a frying pan and shape the mixture into a flat cake to fit it.
- 4 Cover and cook slowly until done, then dot the top with butter.
- 5 Brown the cake in the oven.
