Pan Fried Potato And Green Pepper Hash
Ingredients
- 6 medium cold boiled potatoes
- 3 raw green peppers
- ¼ teaspoon celery salt
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon melted shortening
Method
- 1 Chop potatoes fine and season with celery salt, salt, and pepper.
- 2 Remove seeds and stem from peppers, wash, drain, and chop fine.
- 3 Mix chopped peppers with potatoes.
- 4 Heat shortening in a pan and add potato mixture, cooking slowly.
- 5 When partly brown, fold into an omelet shape and fry until rich brown.
