Pan Fried Oysters With Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- 25 oysters, well drained
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toast for serving
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a chafing dish or skillet over medium heat.
- 2 Add lemon juice and chopped parsley to the melted butter.
- 3 Add drained oysters and cook, stirring carefully, until plump and gills are slightly frilled.
- 4 Season with salt and pepper, then serve immediately over toasted bread.
