Pan Fried Leftover Meat Cakes
Ingredients
- cold meat, game, or poultry
- fat bacon or ham
- anchovy
- pepper
- salt
Method
- 1 Mince the cold meat, game, or poultry fine, adding a little fat bacon, ham, or anchovy.
- 2 Season with pepper and salt, then mix well.
- 3 Form the mixture into small cakes, approximately three inches long, half as wide, and half an inch thick.
- 4 Fry the cakes in a pan until light brown, then serve with good gravy.
