Pan Fried Cod Meuniere

Ingredients

  • cod fillets, sliced
  • flour for dredging
  • butter
  • fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • juice of 1 lemon

Method

  1. 1 Slice the cod and dredge the pieces in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. 2 Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the cod slices and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  3. 3 Add chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to the pan. Cook for another minute.
  4. 4 Remove from heat and squeeze lemon juice over the fish. Serve immediately in the skillet.
