Oysters With Peppers On Toast
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 sweet pepper, chopped fine
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 pint oysters with their liquor
- Salt to taste
- Paprika to taste
- Buttered toast, for serving
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 2 Add the chopped sweet pepper and small onion, frying until softened.
- 3 Stir in the oysters and their liquor, then season with salt and paprika.
- 4 Cook for five minutes, then serve immediately on hot buttered toast.
