Oysters On Toast
Ingredients
- butter
- small rounds of toast
- 1-2 uncooked oysters per round
- salt and pepper
- slices of lemon
Method
- 1 Press a fork into a ball of butter and rub the bottom of a hot blazer with it.
- 2 Cover the buttered surface with small rounds of toast.
- 3 Place one or two uncooked oysters on each toast round.
- 4 Cover and cook until the oysters are plump.
- 5 Dust with salt and pepper, add a bit of butter to each oyster, and serve with lemon slices once the butter has melted.
