Oysters On Toast

Ingredients

  • butter
  • small rounds of toast
  • 1-2 uncooked oysters per round
  • salt and pepper
  • slices of lemon

Method

  1. 1 Press a fork into a ball of butter and rub the bottom of a hot blazer with it.
  2. 2 Cover the buttered surface with small rounds of toast.
  3. 3 Place one or two uncooked oysters on each toast round.
  4. 4 Cover and cook until the oysters are plump.
  5. 5 Dust with salt and pepper, add a bit of butter to each oyster, and serve with lemon slices once the butter has melted.
