Overnight Yeast Rolls

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 ounces butter
  • 1 quart flour
  • 1 pint sweet milk
  • 1 cake yeast
  • a little salt

Method

  1. 1 Beat the eggs until very light.
  2. 2 Melt the butter in the milk, then add a little flour and milk to mix.
  3. 3 Add the yeast, remaining milk, and flour to form a dough.
  4. 4 Shape into rolls, place in a pan, and let rise overnight.
  5. 5 Bake the next morning until done.
