Overnight Rise Parker House Rolls
Ingredients
- 2 quarts flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pint milk, boiled then cooled
- 1/2 cup yeast
Method
- 1 Make a well in the flour and add salt, sugar, butter, cooled boiled milk, and yeast. Let rise overnight.
- 2 Knead for 15 minutes, then let rise again.
- 3 Roll dough thin and cut into rounds.
- 4 Place a small amount of butter on one half of each round, fold over, and bake.
