Overnight French Bread Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 pint scalded milk, cooled
- 2/3 cup yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 quarts flour
- small piece of butter
Method
- 1 Scald milk and let cool. Mix in yeast and sugar.
- 2 Work butter into flour. Pour milk mixture into center of flour and let stand overnight.
- 3 Knead dough, let rise until light, then knead again.
- 4 Mold rolls, let rise again, and bake.
