  • 2 oranges
  • 1 pint boiling water
  • 3 lumps sugar

Method

  1. 1 Peel the rind thinly from half an orange and place it in a jug.
  2. 2 Peel the oranges, slice them, and remove the pips, then add to the jug.
  3. 3 Pour boiling water over the fruit, add sugar, and cover closely until cold.
  4. 4 Strain the mixture before serving.
