Orange Marmalade With Apple Jelly
Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup orange pulp
- 1 cup apple jelly
Method
- 1 Rasp the orange peel to remove zest, then cut out the fruit segments. Remove seeds from the pulp.
- 2 Boil the orange rinds in water until very tender, then beat them fine.
- 3 Dissolve sugar in water by boiling and skimming. Add the beaten rinds and boil until the mixture is thick.
- 4 Stir in the orange pulp and apple jelly. Boil rapidly for 30 minutes until the mixture jells.
- 5 Pour into jars or glasses and seal with paper covers.
