Orange Cream Ice
Ingredients
- sugar
- grated yellow rind of 1 orange
- 1/2 cup cream
- remaining cream
- orange juice
Method
- 1 Combine sugar, orange rind, and half the cream in a double boiler over heat until sugar dissolves.
- 2 Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely.
- 3 Stir in the remaining cream and freeze according to your ice cream maker's instructions.
- 4 When frozen hard, mix in orange juice, refreeze, and pack to ripen.
