Orange Arrowroot Sauce
Ingredients
- sugar
- water
- arrowroot
- egg whites
- orange juice
Method
- 1 Add sugar to water and bring to a boil.
- 2 Moisten arrowroot and add to the boiling water, stirring to combine.
- 3 Beat egg whites to stiff peaks, then gradually whisk in the hot mixture while beating continuously.
- 4 Stir in orange juice and beat again.
- 5 Transfer to a sauceboat and let cool completely.
