One Pot Chili Mac
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound ground beef, 85% lean
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 teaspoons mild chili powder
- 1/2 cup Eating Smart Seasoning Mix
- salt, to taste (optional)
Method
- 1 Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain the fat.
- 2 Add water, macaroni, tomatoes, chili powder, and seasoning mix. Stir well.
- 3 Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer covered for 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
- 4 Taste and add salt if needed. Refrigerate leftovers.
