One Pot Chili Mac

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound ground beef, 85% lean
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 teaspoons mild chili powder
  • 1/2 cup Eating Smart Seasoning Mix
  • salt, to taste (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain the fat.
  2. 2 Add water, macaroni, tomatoes, chili powder, and seasoning mix. Stir well.
  3. 3 Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer covered for 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
  4. 4 Taste and add salt if needed. Refrigerate leftovers.
