One Pan Beef And Cabbage Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 head green cabbage, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 teaspoon non-stick cooking spray
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Chop the cabbage and onion, then set them aside.
  2. 2 In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain the fat and set the beef aside.
  3. 3 Spray the skillet with cooking spray. Cook the onions over medium heat until soft.
