One Egg Cake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
Method
- 1 Cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy.
- 2 Mix in 1 cup milk and 1 beaten egg.
- 3 Stir in 2 cups flour mixed with 2 tsp baking powder until just combined.
- 4 Pour batter into a prepared pan and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until done.
