Nutmeg Muffin Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Pinch of salt
- Grated nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
Method
- 1 Beat sugar and melted butter together.
- 2 Add beaten eggs, salt, nutmeg, and milk; mix well.
- 3 Sift in flour and baking powder; stir until combined.
- 4 Pour into hot buttered muffin tins or a shallow pan.
- 5 Bake in a hot oven (425°F) until golden.
