Nutmeg Custard Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg yolk
Method
- 1 Stir cornstarch into milk to dissolve.
- 2 Bring mixture to a boil and cook for three minutes.
- 3 Add nutmeg, sugar, and egg yolk; beat to blend.
- 4 Cool the sauce before serving.
