Nutmeg Cream Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- Salt to taste
- Nutmeg to taste
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour to form a roux.
- 2 Gradually stir in cream and bring to a boil, shaking the pan.
- 3 Add sliced mushrooms, salt, and grated nutmeg.
- 4 Simmer until mushrooms are tender and sauce is thickened.
