  • 9 large eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift and dry the flour and sugar separately.
  2. 2 Beat egg yolks and whites separately until light.
  3. 3 Whisk egg yolks and sugar together for 30 minutes until pale and thick.
  4. 4 Gently fold in the sifted flour.
  5. 5 Pour into a prepared pan and bake immediately.
