Nine Egg Sponge Cake
Ingredients
- 9 large eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift and dry the flour and sugar separately.
- 2 Beat egg yolks and whites separately until light.
- 3 Whisk egg yolks and sugar together for 30 minutes until pale and thick.
- 4 Gently fold in the sifted flour.
- 5 Pour into a prepared pan and bake immediately.
