  • 4 large leeks, cut into pieces
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup oatmeal
  • cold water

Method

  1. 1 Add the cut leeks to the leftover mutton boiling liquid.
  2. 2 Season with salt and pepper, then boil gently for 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Mix oatmeal with cold water until smooth, then stir into the soup.
