Mustard Butter Tomato Canapes With Egg
Ingredients
- 1 tomato, sliced very thin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- Small round crackers
- 1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
Method
- 1 Slice the tomato very thin and place on a plate. Season with salt and pepper.
- 2 In a bowl, mix butter, mustard, paprika, and parsley until smooth.
- 3 Spread the paste lightly over the tomato slices.
- 4 Place each tomato slice on a small round cracker and garnish with a slice of hard-boiled egg.
