Molasses Wafer Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups molasses
- 2 cups flour
Method
- 1 Mix butter, sugar, molasses, and flour until well combined.
- 2 Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- 3 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) until edges begin to harden.
- 4 Remove from oven, cut into squares while hot and soft.
- 5 Roll each square around a stick to shape before cooling.
