Molasses Oatmeal Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons fat
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cooked oatmeal
Method
- 1 Sift the dry ingredients (flour, molasses, salt, fat, baking powder) together in a bowl.
- 2 Add the beaten egg and milk to the dry mixture and stir until combined.
- 3 Fold in the cooked oatmeal and beat the batter well.
- 4 Pour into greased muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes.
