Mint Butter Simmered Green Peas
Ingredients
- 1 pint shelled peas
- 1 pint water
- 1 sprig mint
- 1 ounce butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
- 1 Wash the peas and place them in a stewpan with the water, mint, butter, and salt.
- 2 Simmer with the lid off until the peas are quite tender.
- 3 Remove the mint sprig and serve the peas.
