Mini Mutton Pies With Puff Pastry

Ingredients

  • 4 oz underdone mutton, minced, skin and fat removed
  • 1 tbsp rich gravy
  • Few drops anchovy essence
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp minced parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Puff pastry for 4 patty pans

Method

  1. 1 Mince the mutton and mix with gravy, anchovy essence, cayenne, parsley, and salt.
  2. 2 Line four patty pans with puff pastry and divide the mutton mixture among them.
  3. 3 Cover each with a pastry lid and bake in a 425°F oven for 30 minutes.
