Mini Baked Custard Puddings With Jam

  • 1/2 lb flour
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 1 egg
  • Jam for serving

Method

  1. 1 Place flour in a bowl and make a well in the center.
  2. 2 Add the egg and mix smoothly with a wooden spoon, gradually adding the milk.
  3. 3 Grease small patty pans and half-fill them with the batter.
  4. 4 Bake in a quick oven (425°F) until set.
  5. 5 Serve on a napkin with a dollop of jam on each pudding.
