Milk Yeast Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 8 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cake compressed yeast
  • 2 cups milk

Method

  1. 1 Dissolve yeast in 2 cups of milk.
  2. 2 Mix flour, eggs, sugar, butter, and yeast mixture to form a sponge.
  3. 3 Let rise until light, then knead.
  4. 4 Shape into rolls and let rise a second time.
  5. 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F).
