Milk Yeast Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
- 8 cups flour
- 4 eggs
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cake compressed yeast
- 2 cups milk
Method
- 1 Dissolve yeast in 2 cups of milk.
- 2 Mix flour, eggs, sugar, butter, and yeast mixture to form a sponge.
- 3 Let rise until light, then knead.
- 4 Shape into rolls and let rise a second time.
- 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F).
