Mayonnaise Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Method

  1. 1 Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Rinse under cold water to stop cooking, then peel and refrigerate until ready to use.
  4. 4 Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks, reserving the whites.
  5. 5 Combine yolks, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a bag or bowl; mix until smooth.
  6. 6 Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture into the reserved egg white halves.
  7. 7 Chill before serving to allow flavors to blend.
