Mayonnaise Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Method
- 1 Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
- 2 Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
- 3 Rinse under cold water to stop cooking, then peel and refrigerate until ready to use.
- 4 Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks, reserving the whites.
- 5 Combine yolks, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper in a bag or bowl; mix until smooth.
- 6 Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture into the reserved egg white halves.
- 7 Chill before serving to allow flavors to blend.
