Mashed Summer Squash With Butter
Ingredients
- Summer squash
- Salt
- Butter
- Pepper
- Cream (optional)
Method
- 1 Wash the squash and cut it into small pieces.
- 2 Cook in salted boiling water for 20 minutes or until tender.
- 3 Drain thoroughly and mash the squash, pressing out all excess water.
- 4 Season with butter, pepper, and salt. Add cream if desired.
