Mashed Potato Topped Meat Pie

Ingredients

• Slices of cold meat
• Boiled potatoes
• Butter or dripping
• A little gravy
• Pepper and salt

Method

1. 1 Season meat with pepper and salt, then place in a pie dish with a little gravy.
2. 2 Mash potatoes smoothly with butter or dripping, adding pepper and salt to taste.
3. 3 Spread the mashed potatoes over the meat to form a crust, smoothing with a knife dipped in hot water.
4. 4 Bake for half an hour.
