Marinated Three Bean Salad With Italian Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 ounce) lima beans
- 1 can (8 ounce) cut green beans
- 1 can (8 ounce) red kidney beans
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 8 ounces sweet green bell pepper, chopped
- Italian salad dressing (fat-free)
Method
- 1 Drain the canned beans thoroughly.
- 2 Slice the onion into thin rings and chop the bell pepper.
- 3 In a large bowl, combine the lima beans, green beans, kidney beans, onion rings, and bell pepper.
- 4 Pour the Italian dressing over the vegetables and toss lightly to coat.
- 5 Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour or overnight.
- 6 Drain any excess dressing before serving.
