Marbled Chocolate And Vanilla Cake
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
Method
- 1 Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg thoroughly.
- 2 Add flour (mixed with baking powder) and milk alternately to the creamed mixture.
- 3 Remove one-third of the batter and mix in the cocoa.
- 4 Drop spoonfuls of white and chocolate batter alternately into small, deep pans.
- 5 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for about 40 minutes.
