Mackerel And Onion Toasts
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons cooked mackerel, deboned
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- Thin toasted bread strips
Method
- 1 Pick the fish from the backbone of a cooked mackerel and rub it through a sieve.
- 2 Mix the fish with grated onion, mustard, paprika, and butter until a paste forms.
- 3 Spread the mixture onto thin toasted strips of bread and serve.
