Macaroni With Tomatoes And Onions
Ingredients
- 1/2 package macaroni
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 tomato, minced
- 4 tablespoons fat
- 1/2 cup catsup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Boiling water (as needed)
Method
- 1 Cook macaroni in boiling water for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold running water.
- 2 Mince the onion and tomato finely. Heat fat in a frying pan over medium heat.
- 3 Add onion and tomato to the pan. Cook until soft.
- 4 Add the macaroni to the pan. Toss gently to combine and heat through.
- 5 Season with salt, pepper, and catsup. Cover closely to prevent drying. Add boiling water if too dry.
