Loaf Sugar Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 whole lemon
  • 4-5 lumps loaf sugar
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ice cubes (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Roll the lemon firmly on a table to soften it and release juices.
  2. 2 Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice over the sugar.
  3. 3 Pour in the cold water and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. 4 Remove any seeds that fell into the mixture.
  5. 5 Serve over ice if desired.
