Liqueur Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons liqueur (maraschino, kirsch, or rum) OR 1 teaspoon vanilla/rose/almond extract OR black coffee
  • Colored sugar (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Flavor the cream with your choice of liqueur, extract, or coffee, and sweeten with powdered sugar.
  2. 2 Whip the mixture to stiff peaks until it forms a stiff froth.
  3. 3 Drain the whipped cream and let it stand on ice until ready to serve.
  4. 4 Spoon the cream high onto a glass dish and sprinkle with colored sugar if desired.
