Light Egg White Fritter Batter
Ingredients
- 1 lb flour
- 1 tablespoon oil or melted butter
- 1/4 cup tepid water
- 1 egg white, beaten to stiff peaks
- Castor sugar to taste (optional)
Method
- 1 Place flour in a bowl and make a well in the center.
- 2 Add oil or melted butter to the well.
- 3 Stir smoothly, gradually adding tepid water until the batter is quite smooth.
- 4 Lightly fold in the beaten egg white.
