Lemon Vanilla Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 heaping teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 2 Add 2 eggs and beat well. Add remaining 2 eggs and beat again.
- 3 Sift flour and baking powder together. Stir in milk, then add to butter mixture.
- 4 Mix in vanilla and lemon extracts. Pour into greased pans and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
