Lemon Vanilla Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 heaping teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. 2 Add 2 eggs and beat well. Add remaining 2 eggs and beat again.
  3. 3 Sift flour and baking powder together. Stir in milk, then add to butter mixture.
  4. 4 Mix in vanilla and lemon extracts. Pour into greased pans and bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
