Lemon Shortbread Tart Dough
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 lemon (for grated rind)
Method
- 1 Sift flour onto a baking board.
- 2 Make a well in the center of the flour.
- 3 Add grated lemon rind, salt, sugar, eggs, and Crisco to the well.
- 4 Mix the ingredients together to form a stiff pastry dough.
