  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 lemon (for grated rind)

Method

  1. 1 Sift flour onto a baking board.
  2. 2 Make a well in the center of the flour.
  3. 3 Add grated lemon rind, salt, sugar, eggs, and Crisco to the well.
  4. 4 Mix the ingredients together to form a stiff pastry dough.
