Lemon Pepper Egg White Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 oz butter
- 1/2 oz flour
- 1/2 pint milk
- lemon juice
- pepper and salt
- 1 or 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a small saucepan.
- 2 Mix in flour smoothly to form a roux.
- 3 Add milk, stirring constantly until cooked and thickened.
- 4 Stir in lemon juice, pepper, salt, and chopped egg whites.
