Lemon Pepper Baked Whitefish
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound whitefish, cod, or halibut fillets
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon canola oil
- 3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- Paprika (optional)
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Separate fish into two serving pieces and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
- 2 Top fish with onion slices. Drizzle evenly with lemon juice and oil.
- 3 Sprinkle with lemon pepper and parsley. Dust with optional paprika.
- 4 Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
- 5 Bake for 20 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
