Lemon Pepper Baked Whitefish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound whitefish, cod, or halibut fillets
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon canola oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Paprika (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Separate fish into two serving pieces and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  2. 2 Top fish with onion slices. Drizzle evenly with lemon juice and oil.
  3. 3 Sprinkle with lemon pepper and parsley. Dust with optional paprika.
  4. 4 Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  5. 5 Bake for 20 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
