Lemon Parsley White Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 oz butter
- 2 oz flour
- 1/2 pint milk
- A few drops lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
Method
- 1 Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Whisk in the flour until smooth to form a roux.
- 3 Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- 4 Stir in lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
