Lemon Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 gallon heavy cream
- 2 pounds loaf sugar
- 1 teaspoon oil of lemon
- 2 eggs, beaten
Method
- 1 Mix the seasoning (oil of lemon or tincture of vanilla) thoroughly with the sugar.
- 2 Beat the eggs well.
- 3 Combine the sugar mixture and beaten eggs with the cream.
- 4 Freeze the mixture in an ice cream freezer according to standard methods.
